Marketplace Expert, Nils Kernchen works with Daley Hub

Nils Kernchen, former platform developer for DIY and garden marketplace, Mano Mano in Germany and the UK is to work with home improvement market specialist and strategic development agency, Daley Hub. Nils will be focussing on helping Daley Hub clients develop their strategy for marketplaces as well as assisting them with technical development and onboarding territory by territory.

Nils has nine years of marketplace experience worked with Mano Mano in its formative years prior to developing a digital platform for boating products. He then returned to home improvement, working with Amsterdam-based marketplace agency ChannelMojo. He is now a freelance associate of both ChannelMojo and Daley Hub, offering clients end to end support in developing and managing their marketplace presence.
Commenting on his new role at Daley Hub, Nils said, “The DIY and home improvement sector remains behind other consumer-facing sectors in maximising the potential of marketplaces. By joining Daley Hub, I can help help ensure we can assess the potential and develop strategies for different territories, and then help clients to sell into DIY and general platforms including those that are nominally ‘closed’. We can also help with technical set up, onboarding and monitoring of existing presence.”
